Social Care Wales Workshops – Care at home #socialcare #socialcarewales #careandsupport #events #workshops

We would like to hear what you think of two of our exciting work areas for 2017- 2018

Care and support at home

More and more people are choosing to live in their own homes with increasingly complex needs, with care and support at home when they need it. We are working on a plan that will say what needs to be done over the next five years to make care and support at home in Wales as good as it can be. Come along to tell us how you think we can work together to improve well-being through care and support at home.

Careers, recruitment and retention

We know there is a problem in the sector with recruitment, retention and careers, so we have developed a draft national framework and work plan to help address those issues. We’d like your say on whether our focus is right and whether what we plan to do is the best way forward for the social care and early years and childcare sector. We’d also like to hear of anything you might be doing regionally and locally which could fit into the framework.

Please come along to share your thoughts with us. You can book on for the whole day or just come to one of the sessions. We look forward to seeing you there.

To come along and have your say please book on to one of the following events:

22nd June – Cefn Lea park, Newtown

27th June – Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff

4th July – Dewis Centre, Pontypridd

5th July, Green Meadows Golf Club, Cwmbran

6th July – Best Western Aberavon Beach Hotel, Swansea

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day
