Supporting social businesses with aspirations to grow and be more sustainable
What: The Social Business Wales Conference is specifically intended to provide inspiration, ideas and practical skills to social businesses in Wales (social enterprises, co-operatives, charitable trading arms, consortia, employee owned businesses) which will help them enter new markets, develop new products or services, collaborate with each other, or adopt new structures – all of which will enable them to grow and be more sustainable.
This free annual conference will provide an environment for knowledge exchange, sharing best practice and networking within the sector; encourage innovation; and provide opportunities to learn from and build partnerships with the private and public sector.
The national conference will be hosted at the Llangollen Pavilion in Denbighshire for the first time.
We will also be running the Social Business Wales Awards the evening before to specifically highlight social businesses in Wales which are making a significant economic and social impact. Both events are free and are open to anyone wishing to attend.
