In April the Children, Young People and Education Committee published Mind over Matter, the findings from its inquiry into the emotional and mental health support for children and young people.

  1. “agreed a new focus on a ‘whole school’ approach to mental health and wellbeing for children and young people to support wider and ongoing reforms of mental health support”. ……..Good to understand how the nutrional quality of school meals will be addressed as a once in a life time intervention to address inter-generational health inequalities and well- being. This is a long standing issues championed by the Welsh Food Alliance – yet to be addressed!
